TRAVEL TO

CANADA

Prairies, glaciers, mountains, immense forests, rugged coasts, frozen tundras and crystal clear lakes follow each other in rapid succession. Welcome to Canada. Discover these extremes during your next Canada tour. The population is at least as diverse as the landscape. From the Inuit and French speaking Quebeckers to the British expats.

Spot bears and whales during your trip. Combine a visit to the rugged Rocky Mountains in the west with wooded areas and charming towns in the east. Canada has it all!

CANADA TRAVEL TIPS

  • When planning your trip through Canada, it is important to determine in advance which region you want to visit.
  • Most people who go to Canada for the first time, are very impressed by the distances in Canada. What appears to be a small part on the map appears to be a few hours' drive. Also, many roads in Canada are not in good condition.
  • Canada is so large, it has multiple climates. In the central part, the largest part of the country, there is a continental climate, in the Rockies a mountain climate, on the east and west coast a maritime climate and in the north cold maritime climate and a polar climate. In the vicinity of the large lakes and around Hudson Bay, the climate is more erratic and gives more rainfall.
  • From March 2016, all travelers to Canada are required to request an ETA form. A single application is sufficient to be able to travel to Canada without any problems.
  • Best time of the year to see the beautiful blue glacier lakes? The best period is between July and August.
